It's only been dripping since this morning (although it's been gradually getting worse all day - I kind of expect to go down in the morning and find the ceiling has caved in).
Given the quality of construction in this place ;) I'd say the pipes haven't been leaking all that long.
It was about the same this morning. And yes, we had a bucket under the leak (not quite wide enough to catch every drip, but it got most of it).
The plumbers just dropped in. I was in the kitchen when they arrived.
"We heard you've got a leak."
I pointed to the ceiling.
"That's a leak, all right! I'm 100% certain that's a leak!"
Apart from smartarse plumbers (but what's new, right?), the good news is that they were able to figure out what the problem was pretty quickly, stick a bucket under the leak at the source, and promise to come back later to sort it out (it'll take a few hours, but we'll be restored to normalcy - ha! - by this evening, and there should be no permanent damage).
Oh, and it's a leak from the hot water system somehow. I didn't catch exactly how or where from. But why am I not particularly surprised?
... well, in the sense that a blog is some sort of journal. I've never been into keeping a journal. My life is just not that interesting.
Instead, this is a random collection of bits and pieces, including travel photos, starting with a 2 ½ month trip in Europe and the USA in July-September 2006, and some of my writing.

Bloody hell! It didn't look that bad last time we were round -- I certainly don't recall getting dripped on! How long has it been like that??

Is it fixed yet? XO8
What are you talking about? Do you really expect them to work on a Sunday? ;)
Is it better or worse? Do you have a large bucket to catch the drops? XO8
