Since I was there at the end of two months of wandering, I wasn't really up for "doing" a whole lot. I had two full days, and basically spent the time wandering around. My evenings were pretty low-key, too, although one night I went with my CS host to a ladies' night (I suppressed my usual opinion of ladies' nights for the occasion!) and one night I went out in the Marais district with another CSer.
The city can look fairly medieval at times, especially down near the Ile de la Cité:

There were tourists who were much more purposeful than I:
